WRP Experts Participate in Public Panel on Russian Meddling in US Elections

UW-Madison newspapers, The Daily Cardinal and The Badger Herald reported on a public panel held to discuss Russian meddling in the U.S. elections. Wisconsin Russia Project experts, Scott Gehlbach, Ted Gerber, and Megan Metzger, all participated.

UW-Madison experts discussed the nature and impact of Russian influence in U.S. elections. Faculty members from the Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia (CREECA) and the Elections Research Center spoke about Russian hacking efforts leading up to the 2016 presidential election, as well as what we can expect going into the 2018 midterm elections. This panel discussion was followed by a lively Q&A.
