Post Doctoral Fellows Arrive in Madison

Aleksandra Lukina arrived in Madison to complete a post-doctoral fellowship. She recently received her PhD from Saint Petersburg State University and will be a fellow at UW-Madison in both fall 2017 and summer 2018. Her scholarship addresses Russian income distribution dynamics and economic growth.

Megan Metzgeralso the recipient of a post-doctoral fellowship, recently received her PhD from New York University. She will be a fellow at UW-Madison for the 2017-2018 academic year, and her research investigates the impact of new technologies on Russian state political strategies.

Dmitriy Vorobyev, also a post-doctoral fellow, is currently an assistant professor and senior researcher at Ural Federal University in Ekaterinburg, Russia. His post-doctoral work at UW-Madison will happen over the course of the 2017-2018 academic year. His research looks at the political economy of governance in Russian and/or electoral fraud.
