Every spring the Havighurst Center for Russian and Post-Soviet Studies at Miami University holds an annual International Young Researchers Conference, which invites advanced graduate students and recent doctorate recipients from the U.S. and abroad to present their research on a specified topic within the region of Russia, Eastern Europe and/or Eurasia. This year the theme is “Technologies and Narratives of Truth and Power,” and the conference will take place on April 4-6. Selected participants are given the opportunity to present their work in a small, intensive workshop. The Havighurst Center will pay for all expenses to attend the workshop–food, lodging, transportation once in Ohio (the applicant only needs to pay for their plane ticket to Ohio).
Applications are due November 15.
