About the Conference

Dates: June 4-5, 2020

In an effort to advance the study of social science and Russia and to build an international network of like-minded scholars, the Wisconsin Russia Project, under the auspices of UW-Madison’s Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia and with funding from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, is excited to host the 2020 Young Scholars Conference.

Scheduled over two days and hosted at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the conference features the research on contemporary Russia by young social scientists from around the world and the expertise of senior scholars, both from inside UW-Madison and from other American and Russian institutions.
